Marshall 9 - Lee 2 May 10. Behind the pitching of Hudson Halling, and 2 hits each by Kailen Jordon and Michael Lusick, Marshall JV closes out the 2017 season with a 9-2 victory over Robert E. Lee.Marshall 5 - TJ 3 - May 9. Wearing their new Marshall “Blue” uniforms, the JV helped celebrate Coach Cain’s birthday with 2 runs in the 5th inning and 2 more in the 6th to beat TJ 5-3.Briar Wood 1 - Marshall 0 - May 2. An unearned run in the 3rd inning spoiled a strong pitching performance from Robert Kelly & Hogan Tooke. who allowed just 4 hits, striking out 6 with 2 walks.Edison 4 - Marshall 2. April 28 Marshall ties the game at 2 in the top of the 6th, but gives up 2 unearned runs in the bottom of the 6th. Marshall JV suffers their 1st conference loss in 2 years.Marshall 10 - Stuart 0. April 25. JEB Stuart keeps it close for the first 3 innings, then Marshall scores 5 runs in the 4th inning, 3 runs in the 5th and 6 runs in the 7th to cruise to a 15-0 victory.Marshall 11- Falls Church 5. April 23. Marshall JV jumps out to an early lead - scoring 10 runs in the first two innings to beat Falls Church JV 11-1 in 5 innings at Dean Sisler Field.Marshall 3 - TJ 1. April 7. The first half of the season ends with a 3-1 victory over TJ. On a COLD night, Robert Kelly and Hudson Halling combine on a 1-hitter to raise the Marshall JV record to 6-1Marshall 11 - Falls Church 2 April 5, 2017Marshall 17- Lee 1. April 3. The JV team overpowers Lee 17-1 in a rain shortened game in Springfield.Stone Bridge 5 - Marshall 4 - March 30.
